Chris Stevens was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia and moved to Atlanta in 1995. He has attended three colleges and a trade school and has been a chef, an America Sign Language interpreter, a cater-waiter and a retail-wage slave. Since taking up the pen in a serious way, he has had travel, culture and humor articles published in various Atlanta publications and has a short story in an anthology of “hot” fiction about tattoos soon to be published by Alyson Books.
When not retailing or writing, he enjoys hiking, camping, distance running (3:34 best marathon), thrift shopping, reading (a bit of everything), movies (arty and blockbustery), travel, making hats out of hardware, dancing naked around bonfires with Radical Faeries and messing with the status quo. Chris currently resides in the Cabbagetown section of Atlanta, where he hatches plans for escape to Philadelphia (home), New York (better than home), New Orleans (where Love lives) and the backwoods of Tennessee (where Faeries live).
