Meet Benjamin Jerner

Benjamin Jerner concentrates his practice on employment litigation, personal injury cases and legal issues affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender clients.

Benjamin is the former co-chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Committee on the Legal Rights of Lesbians and Gay Men. He served as chair of the board of directors of Gay and Lesbian Lawyers of Philadelphia (GALLOP) from 1998 to 2000 and was a member of the GALLOP board from 1996 to 2000. He also served as a member of the board of directors of the National Lesbian and Gay Law Association (NLGLA), representing Delaware, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania from 1998 to 2000. Benjamin is also a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association.

He is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court of New Jersey. Benjamin was awarded a law degree, cum laude, from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College.

With partner Tiffany Palmer, Benjamin and Tiffany founded their practice, Jerner & Palmer, PC in Philadelphia in 2003. Previously, Tiffany served as an attorney with the Center for Lesbian and Gay Civil Rights for five years, where she practiced in the areas of family law and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights.
