How much
are the extra modifications?
We do not charge for any extra work we do to
your toppers. We may charge for unusual
supplies needed to customize your topper.
Can you make any changes we want?
Not always, but we will try our best to do
what you ask.
How long does it take?
We like 16 - 18 weeks to make one of our
toppers.
What's involved in making a topper?
We must often
re-sculpt one of our unique molds and then
make a first casting. This requires a full
day or more time. Drying and cleaning
of the first cast takes at least two days.
Each firing requires 24 hours. Since
we use porcelain, "The Queen of Clays," like
other queens it make not always cooperate by
drooping, sagging or warping in process,
requiring us to start all over again.
We're a small, female-owned, home-based
business so we give every piece the
attention it deserves.
Why does it take so long?
Every topper is a custom, hand-made and
decorated piece of art. Happily,
because so many couples order from us and we
give so much time to each piece, it simply
takes time. We're a studio, not a
factory.
Can we change the color of the hair,
eyes, skin tone?
Yes. We'll create the illusion of you
and your husband of wife in a unique piece
of art.
Do you make gazebos and how much?
Yes. We have designed several with
lights, too, at costs ranging from $45 to
$1,500.
What does shipping cost and how long does
it take?
FedEx shipments to the 48 contiguous U.S.
States is $25 and takes seven days. If
you live elsewhere, we will be happy to give
you a shipping quote.
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes, we charge 8.25% sales tax to California
residents only.
